Hello and welcome!
I’m Tracy Jervis, owner and operator of Tracy’s Tinkering Shed.
I’ve been passionate about crafting ever since I was a small child making perfumes from my mums roses and my passion has only grown with each passing year.

Techniques Used
Willow Weaving
How you can form willow branches is amazing and what you can make from them is limited mostly by your imagination.
There are several techniques that can be learnt to expand your ability when weaving willow.
Crocheting
What you might think of as a simple ball of yarn can be made into many things. With the multitude of vibrant colours available, you can craft some wonderful decorative items.
Coming Soon : Wood Carving
Wood is an excellent crafting material but requires a very different mindset. Instead of adding material you’re remove it to create something exquisite. Whether it be using a hand held chisel or a lathe, you must treat your tools with respect, they are sharp!

Working with glass does tend to require quite a bit of equipment and care must be taken when working with it when it is molten, but you can craft can be some truly beautify items.

Seasonal Crafting
Embrace the current or upcoming season with wonderful handcrafted items that showcase it, be it by the materials used or the design itself.
Be it a crochet flower for spring or a willow reindeer for the holidays, crafting with the seasons can take many forms. It can also be a wonderful way of giving some natural resources that are either in abundance at the time or are going to go to waste, a new purpose.
